Post-Construction Cleaning

Post-construction and remodel cleaning in San Jose

You’ve lived with the noise and the dust for weeks. Now the crew is gone, and we clear what they left behind — the fine dust on every surface, the paint flecks, the sticker residue — so you can finally enjoy the space you waited for.

Why construction dust needs more than one pass

Sanding drywall and cutting tile makes a dust far finer than everyday household dust. It drifts into closed cabinets, settles on top of door frames and window tracks, and keeps falling out of the air for days after the work stops. One quick wipe moves it around. Getting it out means working from the ceiling down, vacuuming before mopping, and going back over the surfaces where it settles again.

That’s the kind of patient, detailed work we’re known for. New finishes also need a gentle approach: a freshly installed countertop, new fixtures and newly refinished floors all deserve care, not harsh scrubbing. We clean them so they look the way they did on the day you picked them out.

Timing your clean with your contractor

Book your post-construction cleaning for after the last trade has finished, including punch-list touch-ups. If a painter comes back for one more day, the dust comes back too. Walk the space with your contractor first, and let us know about any surfaces that need special handling, such as natural stone or a floor finish that is still curing. If your floors were just refinished, ask your installer how long to wait before wet cleaning.

We clean for homeowners after kitchen and bathroom remodels, for families moving into a new addition, and for contractors who want the job to look finished on handover day. Call or text (669) 350-6537 with your project and timing, and we’ll put together a free quote for post-construction cleaning in San Jose or anywhere across the South Bay and Silicon Valley.

Post-Construction Cleaning: your questions

When should I book a post-construction clean?

Once every trade is finished, including touch-ups. Reach out as soon as you have a completion date so we can plan around it.

Will one cleaning get rid of all the dust?

One thorough clean removes the bulk of it, but very fine dust can keep settling for a few days. Some clients add a lighter follow-up visit a week or so later.

Do you work with contractors directly?

Yes. We clean for both homeowners and contractors, residential and commercial. Tell us your handover date and we’ll work toward it.

Can you clean while work is still going on?

It’s best to wait until the work is done, otherwise the dust returns. If you need a room ready early, call and we’ll talk it through.
